Mission

Being a Shipping Technician with us means putting your exceptional attention to detail to work.

As a Shipping Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of short-term operational goals.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Analyze the workload of the distribution center

  • Review orders and generating pick lists according to predefined rules

  • Respond to customer service department inquiries about the status of client orders

  • Follow up with planning, production, and purchasing departments regarding out-of-stock items at the distribution center

  • Manage daily carriers (UPS, FedEx)

  • Track quotes and submissions

  • Assign transportation costs daily for all orders (prepaid & collect)

Profile

You’re the candidate we’re looking for if you have:

  • A college diploma in logistics, transportation, or administration (an asset)

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics and transportation

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (D365 and AX2012 are assets)

  • Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, to interact with various stakeholders
