Mission

Evening shift

Being a Production Supervisor with us means playing a key role at the heart of operations. You will leverage your leadership, production experience, and rigor to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production.

As a Supervisor, you will ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards. You will lead your team in a safe and respectful environment, promote employee well-being and engagement, and bring the company’s values to life through your actions and decisions.

On a daily basis, you will:

Manage operations and performance

  • Optimize team performance by maximizing workforce efficiency and minimizing non-value-added activities.
  • Maintain and enhance the management system by ensuring the implementation of CVPs and the standardization of processes across all shifts.
  • Plan and organize production operations to ensure quantity and deadline objectives are met.
  • Participate in daily production reviews and shift handovers to ensure effective follow-up on priorities and continuity of operations.

Ensure health, safety, and quality

  • Monitor and ensure employee health and safety.
  • Guarantee product quality and implement corrective actions as needed.

Contribute to continuous improvement and projects

  • Support continuous productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Take part in optimization projects, new equipment implementation, and new product integration.

Maintain equipment

  • Ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize equipment functionality.

Develop and lead employees

  • Create a motivating work environment and lead your team.
  • Manage timesheets and coordinate interdepartmental movements for employees under your responsibility, in compliance with the collective agreement.
  • Train, evaluate, and engage staff around improvement initiatives.

Profile

You are the right person for this role if you have:

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • DEP or DEC in industrial and/or mechanical engineering (an asset).
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of PVA (value-added production) and Kaizen principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365, SAP, Fidelio).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Autonomy, good judgment, and openness to change.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
