Mission
Being a Financial Analyst with us means playing a key role within the finance team by actively contributing to month-end close activities, financial performance analysis, and the implementation and optimization of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system.
As a Financial Analyst, you will work in a multi-entity, multi-currency manufacturing environment, where your rigor, attention to detail, and analytical skills will have a direct impact on decision-making and the organization’s financial performance.
On a daily basis, you will:
- Actively participate in the month-end close process (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations);
- Validate the accuracy of financial data and ensure month-end deadlines are met;
- Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts;
- Prepare clear, structured, and insightful financial analyses for management;
- Act as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) super user during system implementation and ongoing optimization;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to define and implement financial requirements;
- Test, validate, and document financial processes within D365;
- Train and support finance users;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls within the system;
- Proactively identify inefficiencies, propose pragmatic solutions, and support their implementation;
- Operate effectively in a context of transformation and changes.
Profile
You are the person we are looking for if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role;
- Significant experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment;
- Experience with and ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), an asset;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, an asset;
- CPA designation (an asset);
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
- The ability to understand and improve complex financial processes;
- Strong autonomy, organizational skills, and respect for deadlines;
- Comfort working with large volumes of data;
- A strong interest in continuous improvement and process optimization;
- An agile, solution-oriented mindset with strong prioritization skills;
