Mission

Being a Mechanical Engineering Technician with us means playing a key role at the heart of manufacturing operations by directly contributing to the performance, reliability, and evolution of production equipment and tooling, in a dynamic, continuous-improvement–driven environment.

 

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will work closely with the production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support operations, optimize existing equipment, and participate in the deployment of new mechanical solutions.


On a daily basis, you will:

  • Assemble, adjust, and install mechanical components, equipment, and production tooling;
  • Perform mechanical modifications on existing equipment based on production needs;
  • Diagnose and correct mechanical issues affecting operations;
  • Support the start-up of new production lines, equipment, or processes;
  • Participate in the standardization of mechanical tooling and equipment;
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement projects (reliability, robustness, repeatability);
  • Support production teams during downtime or problematic situations;
  • Participate in the creation and updating of mechanical documentation;
  • Contribute to training operators on the safe use of equipment.

Profile

You are the person we’re looking for if you have:

  • A college diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent training;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment;
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tooling, and industrial equipment;
  • The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and plans;
  • Proficiency with 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks);
  • Comfort using 3D printers for prototyping and part fabrication;
  • Strong skills with manual and mechanical tools;
  • Knowledge of industrial automation (an asset);
  • Experience in an automated or semi-automated environment (an asset);
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an excellent collaborative mindset.
