Mission
Joining us as a Buyer means applying your exceptional leadership, analytical skills, and collaborative mindset to make a real impact.
As a Buyer, you will play a key role in the supply chain, build strong relationships with suppliers, and actively contribute to optimizing our product categories and internal processes.
On a daily basis, you will:- Plan and execute purchasing activities for raw materials and distributed products.
- Manage full supplier order follow‑up (releases, confirmations, follow‑ups, invoice approvals, credits, RTV).
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements (pricing, discounts, terms, lead times, contracts, tenders).
- Manage and optimize supplier relationships, including performance tracking and dispute resolution.• Contribute to cost‑reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (planning, engineering, production, finance, etc.) to ensure strong operational alignment across the supply chain.
- Participate in new product development and introduction projects, including item creation, supplier qualification and approval (CSA, UL).
- Maintain ERP system data and parameters, including procedures and instructions.
- Demonstrate leadership and support purchasing technicians in their tasks.
Profile
You’re the person we’re looking for if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written.
- A degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field.
- Excellent priority management and the ability to handle multiple files simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, initiative, rigor, and attention to detail.• Good understanding of ERP systems (D365 is an asset).• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.
