Mission

Being a Quality Engineer with us means playing a key role in improving manufacturing quality performance by analyzing systems, structuring initiatives, and implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurring issues.

As a Quality Engineer, you will contribute to the deployment of quality strategies by translating them into concrete operational actions, while delivering measurable results in performance, efficiency, and compliance.

You will also act as a quality reference within the Product Development Process (PDP), ensuring the integration of quality requirements through APQP activities and guaranteeing robust product launches.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Deploy defined quality strategies and objectives and ensure their implementation in operations;
  • Analyze quality systems and manufacturing processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and structure and prioritize an initiative roadmap aligned with established priorities;
  • Lead structured quality improvement projects, ensure execution, and demonstrate measurable results (performance, efficiency, compliance);
  • Define product quality requirements with engineering and design teams and ensure their integration into PDP deliverables, including APQP elements (FMEA, control plans, acceptance criteria);
  • Lead PDP quality activities in alignment with Stage-Gate milestones and ensure deliverables are prepared at each phase;
  • Provide technical expertise in analyzing complex issues and support the improvement of practices;
  • Participate in product change processes (ECR), assess quality impacts, and recommend required actions;
  • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to ensure process stability;
  • Manage the calibration program for measurement and test equipment;
  • Lead the expert committee and drive resulting action plans;
  • Ensure leadership of the quality function in supplier qualification and improvement;
  • Contribute to maintaining certifications (ISO 9001);
  • Monitor trends in quality control methods and tools;
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of products and operations;
  • Consolidate and interpret quality performance indicators and ensure clear visibility;
  • Communicate analyses effectively, write technical reports, and collaborate with internal and external teams.

Profile

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering;
  • A strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., CCPSA);
  • Knowledge of APQP methodology and Product Development Processes (PDP);
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (Kaizen, Lean);
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis and problem-solving methods (SPC, capability, root cause analysis);
  • Knowledge of metrology principles (gauge validation, calibration);
  • Comfort with ERP/MRP systems and standard IT tools (MS Office);
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end projects with measurable results;
  • Autonomy, strong decision-making skills, and action-oriented mindset;
  • Bilingual proficiency (French and English, spoken and written);
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment;
