Mission

Being a Quality Assurance Specialist with us means playing a central role in maintaining and improving quality performance in a manufacturing environment. You will be at the heart of managing critical non‑conformities, conducting root cause analyses, and deploying corrective and preventive actions that have a direct and tangible impact on product and process quality.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will actively contribute to strengthening the quality culture by supporting teams in understanding and applying the Quality Management System. Through your technical expertise and leadership, you will help guide decision‑making, lead priority improvement projects, and support management through data‑driven quality analyses.

Your Day-toDay Responsibilities:

  • Support teams in understanding and applying the Quality Management System;
  • Act as a quality subject‑matter expert for production, technical support, and other departments;
  • Coordinate the management of critical non‑conformities from initiation to closure, ensuring rigor and prompt execution;
  • Lead complex technical investigations using recognized problem‑solving tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D), in collaboration with cross‑functional teams;
  • Define, deploy, and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA), and assess their effectiveness;
  • Participate in the deviation process by analyzing potential impacts and associated risks;
  • Clearly communicate findings, decisions, and responsibilities at every stage of quality processes;
  • Rigorously manage product quarantines, including identification, isolation, tracking, and release of non‑conforming products;
  • Maintain up‑to‑date quarantine records (inventory, status, decisions) and coordinate actions with the involved departments;
  • Analyze quality data (non‑conformities, customer returns, audits, performance indicators) to identify trends and improvement priorities;
  • Prioritize and lead improvement projects aligned with the company’s strategies and priorities;
  • Document results, gains, and best practices, and share them to encourage team engagement;
  • Develop and execute the annual calibration plan for measuring equipment;
  • Ensure compliance, documentation, and follow‑up of internal and external calibrations;
  • Represent the quality function in technical workshops, governance meetings, audits, and problem‑solving activities;
  • Prepare quality reports, monitor performance indicators, and support decision‑making;
  • Provide quality support to partner plants during incidents, start‑ups, or audits;

Profile

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

  • Proficiency with common measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.);
  • Solid knowledge of quality tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D, CAPA) and ISO 9001 standards;
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment;
  • Strong technical judgment and the ability to make quick, informed decisions;
  • Natural leadership skills and the ability to mobilize stakeholders around quality issues;
  • A high level of autonomy, initiative, rigor, and execution efficiency;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Functional bilingualism, both spoken and written (French and English);
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment;
