Mission

Being a Financial Controller with us means putting your exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail to good use.

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle and financial operations of multiple entities while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and relevance of financial information. You will also play a key role in continuously improving financial processes and internal controls.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Be responsible for the complete management of accounting activities and the monitoring of financial operations for multiple operating companies.
  • Coordinate and participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements in a multi-company environment.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to prepare account analyses, required reports, and financial presentations.
  • Analyze budget variances.
  • Support business processes by providing relevant and high-quality financial information.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the financial accounting team, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and enhance the company’s financial accounting policies and standard practices.
  • Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of internal controls.
  • Recommend improvements to processes and work methods to enhance the efficiency, relevance, and accuracy of financial information.
  • Participate in the annual audit as well as various tax credit claims and government audits.

Profile

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • A CPA designation.
  • Strong knowledge of ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
  • Experience preparing financial statements.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset).
  • Strong autonomy, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate in both French and English, verbally and in writing, to meet the requirements of the role and interact with various stakeholders.
