Mission
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting team and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely financial information to management.
In this role, you will:- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s financial accounting policies and standard practices.
- Participate in the enhancement of internal controls and ensure their ongoing monitoring.
- Work closely with your team to perform account analyses and prepare required reports.
- Support business processes by providing relevant, accurate, and high-quality financial information.
- Participate in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Help unify the accounting structure of acquired businesses.
- Develop and maintain standardized financial accounting practices across the organization.
- Ensure the efficient and timely completion of all month-end deliverables.
- Recommend improvements to processes, technology tools, and work methods to enhance the efficiency, relevance, and accuracy of financial information.
- Actively participate in the annual audit process.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
Profile
You are the person we are looking for if you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA designation.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and team leadership.
- Strong experience preparing financial statements.
- Excellent knowledge of ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises).
- Audit experience is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent professional judgment, autonomy, and attention to detail.
