Mission

Being a Quality Technician with us means playing a key role in the continuous improvement of our products and processes. Working directly on the production floor, you will be a key contributor in identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality issues to support the achievement of our operational objectives.

As a Quality Technician, you will work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, process requirements, and the continuous improvement of our manufacturing environment.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Maintain an active presence on manufacturing and assembly lines by providing coaching, raising awareness, and reinforcing work methods and quality controls;
  • Respond to quality issues causing line stoppages and ensure effective communication between departments;
  • Manage non-conformities through a rigorous process, from root cause identification to the implementation of immediate and permanent corrective actions;
  • Analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities and recommend corrective or preventive actions;
  • Develop and maintain various quality reports and associated performance indicators;
  • Collect and monitor production rejects;
  • Perform equipment calibration when required;
  • Apply and promote the Quality Management System and support departments in its understanding and maintenance;
  • Collaborate in the development of new products and monitor prototype activities;
  • Manage the deviation process efficiently;
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits;
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements;
  • Maintain quality documentation and ensure its accuracy and compliance.

Profile

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

  • An AEC, DEC, certificate, or equivalent education and experience in Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;
  • A minimum of three (3) to six (6) years of experience in a similar role;
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment;
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
  • Strong proficiency with standard measuring instruments;
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools and root cause analysis methodologies;
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 (an asset);
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
  • Functional English skills to communicate with suppliers and participate in external audits;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and sound judgment;
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
