As a Practice Director - Sales, you will be responsible for guiding business decisions related to Sales and Customer Service processes as part of our ERP transformation. You will play a key role in harmonizing business practices, optimizing processes, and supporting the adoption of solutions that drive organizational growth and efficiency.
What your day-to-day will look like:- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business activities, process architecture, and the future objectives of the functional area.
- Define guiding principles, priorities, and expected outcomes for Sales and Customer Service processes.
- Resolve conflicting needs across business units, teams, and processes while making clear and timely decisions.
- Validate major operational changes, deviations from standard processes, and proposed trade-offs.
- Work closely with the Core Team Analyst to maintain a decision-making pace aligned with project timelines.
- Mobilize managers, subject matter experts, and end users around agreed-upon business directions.
- Champion decisions and support change management efforts through adoption.
- Ensure the selected solution supports both current operations and medium- and long-term business objectives.
- Participate in design workshops, decision reviews, and sessions requiring business arbitration.
- Review options, impacts, risks, and dependencies prepared by the Core Team.
- Consult stakeholders when required and make decisions within project timelines.
- Communicate business directions and explain the rationale behind decisions.
- Support critical Go-Live activities and escalations impacting the functional area.
Profile
You are the person we are looking for if you have:
- A university degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- The ability to distinguish between local preferences, business requirements, and regulatory or operational obligations.
- A strong understanding of integrated Order-to-Cash processes, including order management, pricing, fulfillment, invoicing, returns, and after-sales service.
- A solid understanding of the interdependencies between Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations.
- The ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and assess their compatibility with standard ERP capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a complex environment with competing priorities.
- A demonstrated ability to influence managers and stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with operational, technical, and executive audiences.
- A strong orientation toward standardization, continuous improvement, and end-to-end process optimization.
- The ability to work effectively in a demanding project environment, meet tight deadlines, and make decisions with incomplete information.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Sales, Customer Service, business process transformation, or ERP implementation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience engaging stakeholders, communicating business direction, and supporting change management through adoption.
- Experience participating in an ERP deployment, including design workshops, testing, operational readiness, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), considered an asset.
- The ability to communicate in both French and English, verbally and in writing, to meet the requirements of the role and interact with various stakeholders.
- Work from home up to 3 days per week.
