Mission

Reporting to the Vice President of Plant Operations in L’Islet, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team and developing the physical potential of the plant.

On a daily basis, you will:  
  • Support the maintenance team in managing operations

  • Manage the maintenance budget to optimize allocated resources

  • Develop and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance plans for the plant’s equipment and buildings

  • Control manufacturing processes

  • Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety standards related to equipment

  • Oversee and develop the personnel directly under your supervision

  • Advance the development of a 4.0 smart factory

  • Stay up to date with technological advancements

Profile

You’re the candidate we’re looking for if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (DEP or technical diploma also accepted)

  • Membership in the OIQ (an asset)

  • At least 10 years of experience in maintenance

  • 5 to 10 years of management experience

  • Proven achievements in managing technical teams

  • Leadership, organizational skills, and creativity

  • Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office environment

  • Strong communication skills in both French and English to interact with internal stakeholders
