Mission

Being a Buyer with us means playing a key role at the heart of manufacturing operations by ensuring the optimal supply of raw materials required for production, while balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

This position represents a strategic opportunity for a recent university graduate looking to launch a career in supply chain within a structured and ambitious manufacturing environment. We strongly believe in developing emerging talent and supporting growth toward leadership roles.

As a Buyer, you will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, collaborating closely with planning, production, and suppliers. Your analytical skills, rigor, and interpersonal abilities will have a direct impact on operational performance and customer satisfaction.

This role is part of our organizational succession plan. The selected candidate will benefit from structured mentoring, progressive responsibility development, and cross-functional exposure to key strategic areas of the company, with the objective of advancing into management roles in the medium term.

On a daily basis, you will:
  • Manage your supplier portfolio and ensure production line supply according to MRP and specific requirements;
  • Purchase raw materials in compliance with approved suppliers, operational constraints, and cost objectives;
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure the right product is delivered at the right time and in the right quantity;
  • Review and approve disputed invoices;
  • Manage returns of defective products with suppliers;
  • Coordinate transportation and customs activities related to purchases, in compliance with Incoterms;
  • Meet with suppliers and monitor their performance;
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term collaborative supplier relationships;
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers according to company and customer requirements;
  • Plan requirements, place orders, and follow up with subcontractors;
  • Work closely with internal teams, particularly planning and operations;
  • Perform statistical analyses and produce reports;
  • Maintain the ERP system and ensure data accuracy;
  • Optimize spare parts inventory turnover.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the selected candidate will be entrusted with a major structuring project: implementing and optimizing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including mapping current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, standardizing practices, ensuring cross-functional alignment (purchasing, finance, receiving), and implementing performance indicators. This project will provide high visibility with senior management and serve as a key developmental experience.
