Mission

Being a Product Manager – Central Heating and Ventilation with us means playing a key role in managing the product life cycle, from strategy definition through to execution. Reporting to the Director of Category – Central Heating and Ventilation, you will work closely with multiple departments located across Canada and the United States to ensure the successful launch of new products and the optimization of existing product performance.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the growth and visibility of leading brands such as Stelpro, Ouellet, Dettson, Epurair, Innovair, Hazloc Heaters, and many others shaping the future of our industry. In your day-to-day role, you will:

  • Define product strategies based on market trends, customer needs, and business objectives;
  • Analyze the performance of existing products and identify development or improvement opportunities;
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and technological advancements;
  • Define product features, technical, and functional specifications;
  • Actively participate in development project reviews, product testing, and cost-reduction initiatives;
  • Manage the product life cycle (launch, growth, maturity, end of life);
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies (positioning, pricing, distribution channels, and communication);
  • Develop documentation required for new product introductions, including training materials and bulletins;
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on product launch and promotional campaigns.

Profile

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment as a Product Manager or in a similar role;
  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;
  • Excellent proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written;
  • Comfort working with electrical products (an asset);
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
  • Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills, with a customer-oriented mindset;
  • Availability for occasional travel;
  • Knowledge of go-to-market strategies, industrial distribution networks, electric heating, and product development (assets).
