We are looking for a visionary and inspiring Quality Director ready to play a key role on the management committee and help build a strong, sustainable quality culture focused on continuous improvement.

Your impact on a daily basis

In this strategic role, you will play a key part on the management committee and will be responsible for all Quality and Health & Safety activities, while working closely with production, engineering, and management teams.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and deploy the strategic vision for quality assurance aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish and strengthen a quality culture focused on internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure the maintenance of ISO 9001 certification in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Support new product introduction (PFMEA, control plans, pre-production, product validation).

Leadership & Management

  • Lead, engage, and develop the team’s skills.
  • Act as a change agent, capable of influencing and rallying stakeholders.
  • Participate in the management committee and contribute to the company’s strategic directions.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

  • Ensure OHS compliance for assembly lines and test benches (ESD, soldering fumes, lockout/tagout – LOTO, chemicals and SDS).
  • Analyze OHS indicators, identify trends, and lead preventive and corrective action plans.
  • Develop a proactive, sustainable OHS culture integrated into operations.
  • Participate in OHS committees and working groups.

Profile

Profile we are looking for

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality and team management.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Experience with Divalto or another ERP system, an asset.
  • Knowledge of applied statistics in production and project management.
  • Intermediate bilingualism (French/English) for communication with English-speaking suppliers, an asset.
