Mission

Being an Industrial Engineer with us means using your exceptional ingenuity to contribute to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives.

As an Industrial Engineer, you will contribute to continuous improvement projects by developing analytical tools, collaborating with various stakeholders, and applying industry best practices. You will be responsible for recommending and implementing projects of varying complexity aimed at reducing costs, supporting production, facilitating the introduction of new products, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead process and equipment improvement projects and facilitate Kaizen improvement workshops;
  • Maintain, develop, and enhance performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of concrete actions;
  • Engage production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to diagnose manufacturing, layout, or process issues and implement effective solutions;
  • Work closely with suppliers to identify, evaluate, and implement equipment and material resource improvement solutions;
  • Conduct analyses to improve manufacturing processes, including capacity studies, process variation analysis, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and operational performance evaluations;
  • Monitor technological and industrial trends, assess the relevance and return on investment of new solutions, and provide investment recommendations based on ROI analyses;
  • Lead projects related to reliability, health and safety, and production cell layout in collaboration with various stakeholders to support the achievement of company objectives.

Profile

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automated Production Engineering;
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong knowledge of industrial engineering methodologies and best practices (Lean, Kaizen, Gemba, capacity analysis, statistical analysis, etc.);
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written, to meet the requirements of the role and collaborate with various stakeholders;
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt), considered an asset;
  • Experience with Power BI and/or AutoCAD, considered an asset;
  • Membership in a professional engineering association, considered an asset;
  • A high level of autonomy, initiative, leadership, and attention to detail.
